I recently ran into this issue. We have a custom report that contains a lot of maps. For the most part the imagery of Google works well enough. In this case, the imagery in Esri's basemaps was newer. The site in question was under construction in Google's imagery, but displayed as complete Esri's imagery.

Our goal was to provide the client with two versions of the report, one using Google and the other using Esri. However, we were not able to as we needed a way to filter down the points shown on the map.
