Copy record data when duplicating app

When working on an update to an app it would be good if there was the option to make a duplication of the original app with all the data to serve as a "roll back" option

Agreed. Last time I made major changes to an app, I first I cloned the app, exported my data, tried to import it into the new app so I knew I had a functional backup, and was failed because it said another app already had data with the same record ID. So, I went ahead and updated my original app without knowing I had a working backup. Scary. Please make "clone app with all data to a new app" as a single-click push-button option, perhaps under he export screen.
